Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Strathcona County (the “County”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Health Monitoring Services

The County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide health monitoring services including respiratory protective equipment and hearing protective device fit testing, audiometric testing, spirometry and silica and asbestos health assessments. The current number of employees requiring the Deliverables is approximately 400 annually, but may fluctuate.

The health monitoring services required in the Deliverables align with the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation and Code and the following CSA Standards: •Z94.2-14 Hearing Protection Devices: Performance, selection, care and use •Z107.6:16 Audiometric Testing for Use in Hearing Loss Programs •Z94.4-02 Selection, Use and Care of Respirators.

The health monitoring services must be provided within 10km of road travel from Strathcona County Hall or be provided on-site.
