AB-2025-04712 - Landfill Operation Services Contract

The Drumheller and District Solid Waste Association (DDSWMA) is looking to enter into an agreement for the supply of landfill operational services. The contract will be for 5 years with a 5 year extension based on performance.

We are a non-profit organization registered under the Society's Act and own and operate the Drumheller and District Regional Landfill (DDRL); a Class II Municipal landfill. We currently landfill approximately 20,000 MT of waste/year, including hydrocarbon contaminated soils. The DDRL also operates a small MRF, HHW facility, hydrovac and sump pits and supplies services for the Town of Drumheller for their aggregate recycling facility.

The pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 am MST at the Drumheller and District Regional Landfill. The meeting is mandatory with the exception of those in attendance during the April 2, 2025 meeting. Those who are excepted and choose not to attend, do so at their own liability. Potential bidders must cross the scale to receive direction. Potential bidders must supply their own PPE. Hi-Vis vests and certified steel toed boots are mandatory.
