217360 - RFSQ# 25-25 Design and Build – Outdoor Bandshell (Performance Stage) at Cobble Hill Common – Area C

This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the Cowichan Valley Regional District (the “CVRD”) to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide Design and Build – Outdoor Bandshell at Cobble Hill Common – Area C

The respondents or contractors must be reputable and qualified Design-Builder with proven experiences acting as General Contractor, and must possess the capability to undertake this project. Additionally, contractors should have a demonstrated track record of successfully completing projects of a similar nature and scale.

The CVRD expects the successful Proponent (“Contractor”) to have, at minimum, the following qualifications:

1. Have successfully completed at least three (3) projects of a similar scope; and
2. Be familiar with the BC Building Code and the Canadian Standards Association’s Accessible Design for the Built Environment Guide (CAN/CSA B651-12); and
3. Be licensed to carry on business in the Province of British Columbia; and
4. Provide warranties for all structural, electrical and roof works completed for the CVRD.

All works will be located at the 1461 Fisher Road (the “Project”). The estimated budget for this Project is $450,000 (PST included).
