78-2025 - RFP 78-2025 - 92923/92924 Nanaimo Harbour and Gabriola Berth Life Extensions

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) identifies a business opportunity for the successful proponent to provide marine construction services to improve the structural components of the berths at Nanaimo Harbour and Gabriola Island.

An optional site visit will take place on July 30, 2025. Proponents are to meet at Nanaimo Harbour at 8:45am for Contractor sign-in/orientation, followed by catching the 9:20am ferry to Gabriola Island. The site visit at Gabriola Island will take place from 9:50am to 11:40am, followed by catching the 11:50am ferry back to Nanaimo Harbour. The site visit at Nanaimo Harbour will take place from 1:20pm to 2:00pm. Proponents must inform the RFP Contact Person via email of their intent to attend the site visit, three business days in advance of the scheduled date and time to secure attendance. Proponents are to state the name of the company they represent and the name(s) of attendees. BC Ferries requests proponents to limit attendance to two personnel per proponent. Further information including specific location and parking to be provided via email once attendance is secured. Personal protective equipment is required during the site visit; including steel toe boots, hi-vis vests and personal flotation device
