Description

Scope

Removal and proper disposal of old Bard Exterior Wall-Mount unit, including reclaim of refrigerant into appropriate reclaim bottles and sending away to refrigerant disposal location

Supply and installation of new HVAC unit
Supply and install of new supply and return air grilles as recommended by supplier
Supply and install of new thermostat if required
Electrical contractor to extend electrical & wire unit as required
Commissioning of new equipment upon installation completion

Requirements
Current unit make/model to be removed and disposed of: BARD WA121-A03XXXXXJ
The replacement unit must meet / exceed current unit’s specifications. A completed Specifications Summary spreadsheet must be included with submission.
General: Wall-Mount or Split One Ton Air Conditioner / Heater or an equivalent Heat Pump
Volts: 230 / 208
Phase: 1
Heat Strip: 3.6 kw or equivalent heating capacity
Cooling Cap. BTUH: 11,100
EER: 9.0
SEER: 10.0
Additional Considerations for the replacement unit:

Heating and cooling unit capable of maintaining a stable internal temperature of 21⁰C +/- 2⁰C in Squamish, British Columbia in an insulated portable building with an area of approximately 115 square feet. (photos for reference attached)
Thermostat to be mounted as per approved customer location to provide stable temperature within the shelter, or existing thermostat to be used.
The building contains heat-producing air quality monitoring equipment, which is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Replacement could be a wall-hung unit or a split system.
