Description

The Province invites formal written proposals for a modular construction of a 30’ (w) x 78’ (l) twenty (20) person wet sleeper, with an additional 14’ (w) x 12’ (l) boot room at the front with two (2) 6’ x 6’ rear and front landing and stairs to be located at the Footner Lake Fire Base. Proposals must be complete with specifications, floor plan, plumbing, electrical, construction and elevation drawings, as well as pile layout requirements for the building. The sleeper must be completed, delivered, setup and commissioned by March 31, 2026.

A Proponent information session has been scheduled to provide an opportunity for questions or clarification regarding this RFP’s requirements. Date: July 25, 2025 Time: 10:00 a.m. Location: Footner Lake Fire Base Footner Lake Fire Base Location GPS coordinates: 58.613693, -117.166057 Footner Lake Fire Base is located 10 minutes north of High Level off Highway 35 on Range Road 194A Submit written questions to the Contracting Manager in advance so that comprehensive answers can be given at the session. A mandatory site visit will be held on July 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. to brief all interested Proponents of the scope of work required in relation to the Goods. The site visit is mandatory; therefore the Proponent or Proponent’s representative must attend or the Proponent’s Response will be rejected. Contact the Contracting Manager at wf.wfts-contracts@gov.ab.ca, to confirm attendance by July 24, 2025.
