Description

The objective of this Request For Information (“RFI”) is to collect information about existing and potential projects that could utilize deciduous timber from Crown lands as an input into the development of a product or good as described in this document. Appendix A includes specific questions and subjects that Vendors are requested to respond to. Following review of the Responses to this RFI, the Province is not obligated to conduct any procurement or timber allocation process. Information gathered through this RFI will assist the Province in determining demand for the timber and may be used to help inform future timber allocation initiatives conducted under the authority of the Forests Act and its regulations. This RFI is not a competitive bid process and will not result in a contract award or timber allocation.
