Description

Notice is hereby given that Selkirk College is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Sodick (the “Supplier”). The term of the contract is expected to be a one-time purchase. The aggregate value of the contract is expected not to exceed, exclusive of applicable taxes $205,000.

The College is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons: Selkirk College has established a research partnership with TRIUMF (Canada’s particle accelerator centre). As part of this collaboration, we support the fabrication of precision components and the training of advanced technicians. To ensure process parity, our lab is being outfitted with equipment identical to TRIUMF’s, notably the Sodick VN400Q wire EDM.
