Description

The City of Calgary is seeking a qualified Supplier for supply and delivery of chemicals and laboratory consumables for the City of Calgary’s water and wastewater treatment plants/operations.

The City of Calgary’s Water Quality and Regulatory Assurance (WQRA) division provides scientific, technical, and regulatory services to the utility protecting the environment, public health, and City infrastructure through accuracy of analytical testing. WQRA laboratories are accredited for those tests listed on the Scope of Accreditation through the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation to ensure The City meets and maintain the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025:2017(E). In order to perform those tests, The City requires a wide variety of organic, inorganic, wet chemistry, general chemistry, and microbiology-related chemicals. In particular, chemicals relating to methods described under Standards Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater and they must be readily available for purchase.
