Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the City of Salmon Arm to local contractors who have previous experience completing fuel treatment projects in the southern interior. The RFP is intending to invite price quotes and methodology for Fuel Management Treatments within municipal forests in the City of Salmon Arm.

Note this prescription has an amendment to allow broadcast chipping pending BCWS review and that activity cannot commence until approval. Any chipping is expected to begin Spring 2026. Treatment work is anticipated to begin mid-January 2026 and end May 22, 2026, which options for extension in sites that require dry soils to operate in and accommodations for fire season shutdowns.
