Description

The Department of Energy and Minerals is requesting proposals from qualified accounting firms with demonstrated private sector audit experience and expertise, for the provision of external audit services to execute an audit of the Alberta Carbon Trunk Line (ACTL) project for a pre-determined period range

The department will be selecting a Proponent to provide an audit of project costs and revenues for a period of approximately five years from September 1, 2019, to September 30, 2025, for North West Redwater Partnership (North West) and December 1, 2019, to September 30, 2025 for Enhance Energy Inc. (Enhance) and Wolf Carbon Solutions Inc. (Wolf).

The Province, Enhance, and North West are parties to the Carbon Capture and Storage Funding Agreement in which the Province will provide a maximum of $495 million to the ACTL project through to the end of 2025. The Province, Enhance, and North West, are also parties to the Consent and Acknowledgement Agreement, along with Wolf.
