Description

The Ministry of Education is seeking a Vendor for actuarial and benefits consulting services to provide expert advice relating to insured benefits and Employee Life and Health Trust (ELHT) matters.
Scope of Work
The successful vendor would provide the ministry with expert advice/analysis on benefit plans including:

• industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices,
• actuarial cost trends (i.e., claims and premium costs), environmental implications, projections, etc. of proposed benefit plan changes,
• consideration and recommendations in respect of plan designs, benefit funding arrangements, contribution formula, and other funding mechanisms.

The vendor will not be responsible for providing, delivering or implementing policy strategies or solutions in school boards.
