The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) is committed to advancing effective long-term liability management strategies for the oil and gas sector. This project seeks to engage expert advisory services to support the development, assessment, and optimization of liability solutions. The successful Respondent will collaborate with industry associations, technical stakeholders, and the AER to provide technical guidance, propose updated liability estimates, and foster knowledge transfer within the Liability Management (LM) team. Through this initiative, the AER aims to ensure consistent, transparent, and robust evaluation methodologies that support regulatory objectives and build internal capacity for future challenges.
