Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is inviting qualified Design-Build (D-B) bidders to design, build and commission the rehabilitation of the Feed Barn at the Lethbridge Research Centre,

in accordance with the requirement of the Request for Proposal (RFP).

The objective of this RFP is to retain an individual Contractor or Joint Venture to provide the complete design-build work to rehabilitate the Individual Feed Barn for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Lethbridge Research Centre, Lethbridge, AB.

Utilizing a D-B service delivery methodology, a full range of professional consultant and contractor services will be required during both the design and construction phases of the project. The work consists of but is not limited to redeveloping the feed and watering stations, protection of freezing of the water lines and water bowls and some structural upgrades as more fully described in the Terms of Reference.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications included in the solicitation documents requires attention.

It is strongly recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.

Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site.

2013 at 11:00 a.m., MST

Bidders are requested to notify the Contracting Officer at least 2 days prior to the site visit that they will be attending.

Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.

Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.

Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

This PWGSC Office provides procurement services to the public in English.
