Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has a requirement for two Fourier-Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Systems to conduct non-intrusive inspection of palletized cargo.

The FT-IR systems will be procured in accordance with and as described in Annex A of the Request for Proposal (RFP).

The Resulting Contract will have an irrevocable option to purchase: a) up to 10 additional FT-IR systems until 31 March 2020; b) additional extended Warranty on the Interferometer and Laser, for 10 additional 1-year periods after expiry of the initial 1 year all-inclusive Warranty per FT-IR system purchased; c) additional extended Warranty on the Source, for 2 additional 1-year periods after expiry of the initial 1 year all-inclusive Warranty per FT-IR system purchased; and d) up to 12 additional hard-sided transportation crates (fitted for the FT-IR system).

Delivery of the initial purchase must be received no later than March 31, 2018.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
