Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement

Description of the requirement: The Project Management Office Division (PMOD) of the Information Management and Technology Directorate (IMTD) of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) require the professional services of an experienced Senior Business Consultant to provide business and procurement expertise to IMTD in the acquisition of IM/IT contracted resources. Reporting to the Director, PMOD and working directly with the IMTD management and staff as well as CNSC Contract Management Section, the Senior Business Consultant will be accountable for interfacing with different divisions within IMTD to gather, analyze, and document their IM/IT professional services procurement requirements, in compliance with the CNSC Contracting as well as the GoC procurement processes. This resource will also be responsible for preparing Statement of Work, developing mandatory and rated requirements, Task Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) request documents, Temporary Help Services (THS) request documents, Statement of Requirements, assist in the preparation of Request for Information and Request for Proposal documents with minimal supervision required. The Senior Business Consultant will also perform the initial screening of the bids received and participate in the development of the evaluation report for IMTD review.

Security requirement at bid closing: Valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

Proposed period of contract:

The proposed period of contract shall be from contract award plus 220 days and two irrevocable option periods of 120 days as Option Period 1 and 120 days as Option Period 2.
