PROSERVICES REQUIREMENT

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement for the following resources, under the ProServices Supply Arrangement method of supply, to conduct an independent "Health Check Review" of the e-Procurement Solution (EPS) Project:

i. One 5.13 Independent IT Project Review Team Leader ii. One 5.14 Independent IT Project Reviewer

Only selected ProServices SA Holders currently holding a ProServices SA for Stream 5

Project Management Services in the National Capital Region under the E60ZT-120001 series of SAs are invited to compete. SA Holders may not submit a bid in response to this bid solicitation unless they have been invited to do so. However, should an uninvited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting Authority to request an invitation at any time before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA Holder unless it would not be consistent with the efficient operation of the procurement system.

Waste Segregation

Defence Research and Development Canada - Suffield (DRDC S) has a requirement for the segregation, shredding, packing and inventorying of hazardous waste.

A situation exists at DRDC S involving a large quantity of hazardous waste. This waste accumulation includes quantities of Personnel Protective Equipment ensembles (PPE) which can be further categorized as; suits, canisters, masks, gloves and boots, associated training waste that include Chemical Warfare Agent (CWA) and detoxified CWA, and other material related to Chemical Biological, Radiological and Nuclear training operations. Included with this waste are substantial accumulations of laboratory waste that emanates from DRDC research programs. Solid, liquid and other contaminated materials co-exist in

a secure location

in an area within the Experimental Proving Grounds (EPG) Cameron Centre Hazardous Waste (CCHW) holding facility located on the north east side of the Cameron Complex. Click

The work will be subdivided into two Phases: Phase one (1) which includes development, preparation and acceptance of the Contractor documents including Field Technical Plans, final H&S plan and Emergency response plan,

and site preparation and installation of Contractor owned equipment (Hydrolytic Bath, Decontamination Station, other PPE and Detection related equipment).

Phase two (2), the actual segregation, shredding, packing and inventorying of the waste.

The period of contract is from date of contract award to March 31, 2013.
