Description

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has a requirement for a new Laser Induced Breakdown Spectrometer (LIBS) System for its Laboratory in Scarborough, Ontario.

Delivery is required to Scarborough, ON, on or before March 31, 2020.

A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for the award of a contract.

The bidder must provide evidence demonstrating that the LIBS system meets the following mandatory technical criteria, including:

1. The LIBS system must have at least one laser (Nd: YAG laser, 1064 nm wavelength, or equivalent); 2. The LIBS system must have a wide spectrometer wavelength with a minimum range of 250-900 nm; 3. The LIBS system must have a high-resolution camera with full sample positioning control; 4. The LIBS system must include software that enables identification of elements.

The Bidder must submit pricing in accordance with Annex BBasis of Payment, in Canadian Funds.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
