Description

AIMCo is a crown corporation established on January 1, 2008 and whose sole shareholder is the Province of Alberta. AIMCo was incorporated for the purpose of providing investment management services to certain Alberta public sector entities. AIMCo is one of Canada’s largest institutional investment managers and is responsible for the management of assets with a value of approximately $100 billion.
AIMCo is seeking a vendor to provide and implement a software specializing in the practice of data governance (“the Solution”). AIMCo has a maturing data governance program and is interested in technology to support the processes and procedures of their Data Governance Framework. Key stakeholders are Data Management and Investment Operations. Users of the technology range enterprise wide (Front office staff), executive data owners, supervisory data stewards to data quality analysts.

The technology is expected to streamline processes/ procedures, manage documentation, provide metrics and centralize data governance in one application to better keep the information up to date.
