Description

It is the mission of the Alberta Government, departments and agencies to protect Albertans from the effects of disaster and emergency events through a coordinated and all-hazards focused public safety system. The AEMA strengthens the public safety system by sustaining collaborative partnerships that lead to a stronger more disaster resilient Alberta.

The Alberta Emergency Alerting (AEA) program has been approved to move forward to directly support these goals by utilizing public alerting that uses all reasonable means to provide information and warnings to those affected by an emergency to save lives and protect property.

As such, the Province is looking to have a Contractor develop, support and manage an AEA Mobile Application. The AEMA oversees the AEA program.
