RFP AE-20-01 - ALBERTA 2030: Transforming Post-Secondary Education

Alberta 2030 will result in an evidence-informed, co-created road map for systemic transformation which can be effectively implemented, enabling prosperity and better outcomes for learners and all Albertans both now and in the future.

The Contractor will be required to conduct a comprehensive review of Alberta’s Post-Secondary System with key stakeholders, starting now to build new ways to work together to develop and implement a bold new vision and strategy, positioning Alberta firmly within a global context. Supported as a whole-of-government priority, this Project will lead to a roadmap for transformation that will deliver the future skills and lifelong learning outcomes needed in the province of Alberta. These include resilience, innovation, entrepreneurship and job creation for the 21st century, positioning Alberta for global competitiveness. Transformation will be achieved by learning about and adopting leading practices - and demonstrating leadership and innovation with made-in-Alberta solutions and policy approaches where needed - engaging industry, employers, students and Tertiary Education providers to collaborate on the development and launch of system-level outcomes, strategies, priority implementation and ongoing evaluation of success.
