Description

This Request for Proposal is an invitation by the Calgary Public Library to prospective vendors to submit proposals for the supply and processing of print books, print standing orders, graphic Novels, book CDs, literacy materials, world Language books, books published in Canadian indigenous languages and other format recommendations for a large urban public library.
The objectives of this Request for Proposal are the following:
• To select an innovative, flexible and qualified vendor or vendors to acquire physical materials for the CPL’s collection and provide cataloguing and processing services.
• The CPL’s collections are dynamic, and the CPL is seeking a vendor experienced and willing to support ongoing changes in acquisition, cataloguing and processing.
• All materials supplied shall meet Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws, including distribution rights.
