Description

The ARTeMiS Laboratory at the University of Lethbridge has been conducting airborne laser scanning (ALS) missions to support natural resource inventory, environmental monitoring and hazard assessment research since 2013. A proposal to the Western Economic Development Canada to obtain cutting edge airborne multispectral ALS equipment for partnership R&D projects, resulted in the creation of the AEDIS Facility.
