IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS REGARDING BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids WILL NOT BE accepted as part of this bid solicitation.

*** The National Research Council (NRC), Winnipeg - Additive Manufacturing site, is looking to purchase a Laser Metal Powder Bed Fusion Addditive Manufacturing System.

All the technical specifications are detailed in the Request for proposal (RFP).

This requirement also includes many deliverables as well as a full on-site training for the operation and use of the system.

*** Delivery date: as soon as possible.

Delivery and installation location: Winnipeg, MB, Canada,

* Please note that the installation, commissioning as well as the training will take place later on in 2021. Please see RFP (Annex A) for more details.

Quantity: 1 system with all its components and accessories.

*** The supplier will be selected following an evaluation based on mandatory technical AND financial criteria specified in this RFP.
