Description

The Province is contracting with NatureServe for the continued use of their propriety Biotics solution, which the Province uses for conservation management as well as to provide the Government of Canada report statuses on Species at Risk. NatureServe services under the Contract include hosting and maintenance of the Biotics database for use by the Alberta Conservation Information Management Systems (ACIMS), hosting of ACIMS data and front-end application, maintenance and support of the technical solution, document management and help desk.
