Description

Parkland County is seeking email responses for the implementation of a software system to serve as the core business application for planning and development processes. This software system will be used to allow online submission of applications, manage internal workflows, keep accurate records, facilitate electronic document management and electronic plan review, as well as integrate with existing tools, such as geographic and financial systems.

The goal of the software system is to improve customer service and enhance consistency and transparency to residents and applicants by providing real-time tracking and workflow functionality for a seamless experience for internal and external customers. It will also include checks and balances to ensure all required prior decisions and applications are completed in sequence and aligned with legislated process. The County requests the following information be addressed in the respondent’s response:
• Brief Corporate Profile including related experience and expertise;
• Completion of Appendix B: Requirements Matrix;
• Previous and current experience as a supplier of software systems for planning and development processes
• Approximate number of customers, independent with no affiliation to the respondent, using their solution in production for the same or similar purpose;
• Three references for clients currently using their software solution for the same or similar purpose, indicating if current clients are operating in an urban or rural environment. Additionally;
• Budgetary price estimates for Software implementation, Licensing, support and yearly subscription; and
• Product overview including additional options and features and manufacturer information

Parkland County may request a vendor presentation from respondent(s) as part of this RFI process.
