Description

The Province requires the Services of intermediate rotary wing helicopter contractors for the purpose of providing aircraft(s) for provincial staff to conduct aerial surveys of mountain pine beetle (MPB) infestations and to transport contracted MPB green to red ground survey crews within the Province of Alberta.

** Multiple Contracts may be awarded under this RFP**

This RFP advertises projects within the Edson, Grande Prairie, Rocky Mountain House, and Slave Lake/Whitecourt Forest Areas . The successful Proponents will provide the services for the projects they are awarded as outlined in this RFP but may also be required to provide service in other locations advertised in this RFP.
Services for these projects are provided on an hourly basis; there is no guarantee that a Contractor awarded a Contract to provide Services in a forest area will be the exclusive Contractor for services within that area.
