GRANDE YELLOWHEAD PUBLIC SCHOOL DIVISION TENDERS FOR
PARKLAND COMPOSITE HIGH SCHOOL UPGRADES PART 1 - LIGHTING UPGRADES

EDSON, ALBERTA

Sealed Tenders for the Parkland Composite High School Upgrades – Part 1 Lighting Upgrades located in Edson, Alberta will be received via e-mail until 14:00 hours, Tuesday June 30th, 2020 by The Workun Garrick Partnership Architecture and Interior Design Inc., Suite 1300, 10117 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, T5J 1W8. A public opening of the tenders is scheduled for 15 minutes after the bid closing time, as outlined in the specification documents.

The general scope of work included in the project is as follows:

• Selective demolition as required to execute the work of this contract.
• Replacement of existing lighting throughout the building with new LED lighting.

Hard copies of the tender documents will not be provided. Tender Documents, in PDF format, will be sent to the offices of the Edmonton Construction Association and will be available in electronic form, from Buildworks Canada. The Owner will also post the Tender Documents on the Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC).

A pre-bid meeting will be held at Parkland Composite High School (4630 - 12 Avenue) in Edson, Alberta on Thursday June 25th, 2020 @ 10:00 a.m.

Tenders shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid submitted and a “Consent of Surety”. In addition, the successful contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Payment bond, both in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of their tender quotation.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
