PHSA 03424 - Blood Bank Reagents Consumables

Notice is hereby given that the Provincial Health Services Authority, Fraser Health Authority, Interior Health Authority, Northern Health Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and Vancouver Island Health Authority (the "Health Authority(s)"), through their collective agent Provincial Health Services Authority ("PHSA"), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Blood Bank Reagents for a term of one (1) year at an estimated value of $1,380,355.95

PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority(s) has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:

· to ensure compatibility with existing products/systems

The Health Authorities require the continued supply of these essential Blood Bank Supplies with stable pricing, whilst PHSA commences the competitive procurement process. Early completion of the competitive process may, at the discretion of PHSA, result in termination of this Contract before the end of the term. The award of this contract is justified to ensure continuity of clinical care

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Kylie Burrage, Buyer, Laboratory and Medical Imaging by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, July 16, 2020. PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
