Description

The Ministry of Community and Social Services, Contract and Procurement Unit – Alberta Works is seeking proposals from interested parties to provide a range of employment Services for Persons with Disabilities in the Edmonton Region with a focus on Alberta Supports / Works Income Support Clients with mental health-related disabilities (anxiety and/or depression) and persons with development disabilities.

Services include maintaining a resource centre, provision of employment preparation Services, a variety of career and employment workshops, all of which will require comprehensive assessments and extensive service management supports that will lead directly to employment.

The Province intends to award two (2) contracts for the delivery of Services.
• Element 1: The first Contractor will provide First, Second and Third Level services, and
• Element 2: The second Contractor will provide First and Second Level services.

Payment of contracted Services will be on a Fixed Fee for Service basis. The contract is expected to commence October 1, 2020 for a three-year (3) period plus six (6) month follow-up services.

Proposals are to be prepared according to the Request for Proposals (RFP) - Reference and Submission Documents. The RFP must be obtained from the APC Tendering System.

Questions or concerns about the RFP must be communicated in writing and sent via email to the Contracting Manager sixteen (16) Business Days (Wednesday, July 15, 2020) by 12:00:59 Alberta Time
prior to the RFP’s Closing Date and Time. Questions received after this time will not be accepted.

Verbal responses to enquiries are not binding on any party. The Province will post all written questions and answers on APC by Monday, July 20, 2020.

Proposal Submission Deadline is prior to 12:00:59 p.m. Alberta Time, Friday August 7, 2020.
