Travel Alberta is seeking to develop and retain a Roster of vendors to assist us in the modernization and ongoing operations of our existing websites and supporting technology infrastructure to enable the execution of Travel Alberta’s ReBound Business Strategy and the Province of Alberta’s 10 Year Tourism Strategy.
The scope of the RFP includes but is not limited to supporting Travel Alberta in the following initiatives:
• Planning, design, development, and operations support of a new Industry website www.industry.travelalberta.com.
•Planning, design, development, and operations support of a new multi-national consumer website www.travelalberta.com.
•Planning, design, development, and operations support of future Travel Alberta websites, mobile, and omni-channel content management & distribution solutions
•Planning, design, implementation, and operational support of a new website technology infrastructure including:
-Replacing our existing Web Content Management System
-Replacing our existing tourism Product Information Management System – Alberta Tourism Information Service (“ATIS”)
-Implementation of an improved managed web infrastructure-as-a-service environment
-Modernization of our existing development operations and quality assurance systems and processes

•A tourism digital channel thought leader focused on smart & innovative growth
•Ability to deliver rigorous account management, project management, marketing measurement, financial management, and program accountability tools for all activities
•Ability to effectively and efficiently implement and support Travel Alberta’s websites, mobile, and omni-channel content management & distribution solutions in all markets where Travel Alberta is active
•Be adept at cross team collaboration, communication, and transparency.
