Description

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (VFPA) is exploring a possible alternative model for offsetting the effects of port development on marine habitat and fisheries. The port authority plans to further dialogue with Fisheries & Oceans Canada (DFO) and Indigenous groups about this proposal and is planning to advance its development in addition to conventional offsetting as part of the offsetting plan for the Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project.
