MODA041 - MODA Sludge Dewatering Unit - Supply and Training - Re-Tender

The Scope of Work for this project includes, but is not limited to:

• Supply and piloting of one sewage sludge dewatering press. As the wastewater treatment facility is already constructed and operational, any proposed solution must fit, and be capable of being operated, within the existing dewatering room.

• Each Proponent shall assume that they will be required to successfully demonstrate, through a pilot program at the owner’s facility, that their proposed solution will successfully dewater the treatment facility’s sludge and meet the requirements as outlined in this document

• Upon successful completion of pilot testing, the successful Proponent will be compensated for the pilot testing based on the costs submitted by the Proponent in their financial submission. After evaluation of the pilot test results, a decision will be made by MODA on proceeding with purchase of the Proponent’s solution.

• Should the pilot testing be unsuccessful in that the dewatering unit failed to meet the requirements of this document, the Proponent will be compensated at 50% of the submitted pilot cost with no award of contract. The Proponent will be responsible for all costs associated with the removal of the equipment from MODA’s site.
