Description

1. This RFPQ is open to all interested vendors.

2. The City of Calgary (“The City”) is looking to redevelop some fields and greenspaces that include new synthetic turf field, general earthworks, stormwater sewers, electrical services, irrigation and landscape restoration. The City’s intention is to select up to five (5) synthetic turf suppliers/installers from this RFPQ that the General Contractors will select from when preparing their bid responses.
This RFPQ is not intended to create and will not create a formal agreement by The City to purchase or install any of the Deliverables

3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.

4. The shortlisted Respondents through this RFPQ will have the opportunity to be part of potential City projects for the next three (3) years requiring the construction of a synthetic turf field, which will be procured through a second stage competitive Request for Proposal (“RFP”) process. The City however provides no guarantee as to the value or number of installations required during the three (3) year term.
