Description

The successful proponent is to provide consulting, design, geotechnical and any other services needed to inspect and design the refurbishment of abandoned and existing trails and design of new trails. The consultant will also be responsible to access and design connector trails plus consulting and inspections during the construction phase.

The trail is to maintain a character which blends in with the native landscape as much as possible while providing a safe means of travel for users. Design is to incorporate methods to define the trail. Stairs may be required at approximately 5 locations, however appropriate re-routes will also be considered. All designs for infrastructure must take into account the rate of erosion in the park and include
geotechnical input. A full geotechnical assessment with drilling test pits is not required. Drawings to include trail decommissioning and signage type and locations. AEP to develop signage content.
