GEF-2020-027-A - General Contractor for Suite Renewal - Westlawn Court

Westlawn Courts at 9908 – 165 Street, in Edmonton is owned by Alberta Social Housing Corporation (ASHC) and managed by GEF Seniors Housing. GEF on behalf of ASHC is solicitating for an All-Inclusive price to refurbish one (1) Suite for rentability. The requirements vary within each suite to include painting, ceiling texture touch-ups, drywall, flooring, cabinets, countertops and tile backsplash, plumbing and fixtures, tub to shower conversions, electrical and light fixture upgrades, closet doors, interior door hardware, mechanical and in some cases, asbestos abatement of various materials containing asbestos. This project is to provide all labour, supervision, materials, permits and equipment necessary to complete these suites within three (3) months of contract award. The successful contractor must possess capacity to start continuous work within two weeks of contract award.
NOTE: GEF Seniors Housing will make every effort with the successful bidder to work through this contract to facilitate a safe, efficient work environment for the contractor, GEF staff, tenants and residents. For COVID 19 and the evolving direction from the Alberta Chief Medical Officer of Health and Alberta Health Services that GEF must follow, site access may be modified or potentially denied. GEF will keep all communication up to date concerning this issue.
