Description

The City of Calgary (The City) is requesting Proposals for the Supply and delivery of 65mm hydrant valves on an as required basis.

Each Proponent will need to provide a valve samples at no cost to the City for verification of specifications. Valves that don’t meet specifications will not proceed to field performance testing and will be returned to the Proponent.
Valves that meet specifications will proceed to field performance testing and will be purchased by The City and not returned to the Proponent.

The City is currently not interested in valves that have a British Columbia and Alberta Thread (BAT).

The City intends to enter into one (1) Agreement for the provision of the Deliverables. The Agreement will be for a Term of six (6) years.
Hydrant Valves must be NFPA 1964 Compliant 2018 Edition. Proof of compliance must be submitted at time of proposal submission.
Sample Hydrant Valve for verification of specifications and field testing must be delivered within four (4) weeks of the RFP submission deadline.
