Description

The auditor general needs a consultant to assist in performing valuation advisory services of a sample of Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) managed investments.

The Auditor General will select a sample approximately 10 to 15 of AIMCo managed investments for review by consultant. This sample will be used both in the completion of substantive procedures and test of AIMCo’s processes. The consultant’s resource teams will make reasonable efforts to integrate their knowledge in providing valuation advisory services to the Auditor General.
The consultant will need to be available to provide services as outlined in section 3.3 below from January 2020 to Dec 2021 per timelines specified in the following table:
10 Limited critique valuation reports
Dated: December 31, 2020
Timeline for Completion:
Draft reports due February 28, 2021
Final reports due March 31, 2021

5 limited critique valuation reports
Dated: August 31, 2021
Timeline for Completion:
Draft reports due October 15, 2021
Final reports due October 31, 2021

The consultant will be appointed for one year, with an opportunity to renew for an additional one-year term, with renewal subject to performance considerations.
