Description

The Town of Okotoks (“the Town”) is intending to award the following contract to Eco Ag Initiatives Inc.

Scope: Disposal of municipal sludge from the Town’s Waste Water Treatment Plant.

· Approximately 3,600 tonnes of municipal sludge annual basis produced by biological nutrient removal process at the Town of Okotoks wastewater treatment facility. Municipal sludge typically consists of:

Ø Dewatered municipal sludge from the Waste Water Treatment plant

Ø % Solid in range 19%-21% without amendment

· The Contractor is responsible for ensuring compliance with Section 4.6 of the Province of Alberta Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act: Sludge disposal of Approval 1028-03-00 and all other regulated requirements

· The Contract is intended to be implemented at the 2nd quarter of 2021 and will be in effect for a period of up to 5 years
