Description

FAMIS is the single source repository of information for all Province-owned and leased buildings, land and facilities, including hospitals, schools, and government facilities. FAMIS is also the primary information source for the essential Building and Land Information Management System (BLIMS), including lease management, facility and property management, space usage management, parking, location, geospatial integration, and land management for AI and other Government of Alberta ministries. As such, FAMIS is a critical application that requires continuing support and maintenance.

The contract amendment will include an extension to January 31, 2028 to ensure continuity, as well as re-platforming of the application to the Cloud.
