Description

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) has secured the necessary funding to replace the existing Cowichan District Hospital on a greenfield site on Bell McKinnon Road in the Municipality of North Cowichan, British Columbia. The proposed new hospital is expected to be approximately 46,000 square metres, with 201 inpatient beds, built to modern clinical and technical standards.

The project is being procured using a competitive alliance approach.

Infrastructure BC is managing the competitive alliance selection process on behalf of Island Health.
