Description

The project is the buildout of six (6) high acuity beds including medical gases and overhead patient lifts at Victoria General Hospital. A site visit is not planned for this RFP process.
Each bed area will be enclosed with a demountable glass walls with a sliding glass door. It is anticipated the supporting spaces will include but are not limited to:
· Charting space
· Medication room
· Clean and soiled utility rooms
· Patient monitoring system
· Nurse call system
· Hand hygiene stations
Island Health is currently developing a functional program. The successful Proponent will be provided with current information as well as project scope reports. Island Health is considering the use of prefabricated demountable partition systems to assist in accelerating the Project's delivery and is seeking the input of the Construction Manager to determine feasibility.
