Description

This notification is provided to inform vendors of a project proposed by the St. Clair Catholic District School Board and shall be considered as a supplement to the Instructions to Bidders which are included with the Bid Package for the project. Project Title & Location: Architectural Services for Portapak Demolition, School and Child Care Addition and Retrofit Project at Sacred Heart Catholic School, Port Lambton, ON

Description of Procurement: Architectural Services for Portapak Demolition, School and Child Care Addition and Retrofit Project at Sacred Heart Catholic School, Port Lambton, ON The Board is proposing a two phased project. Phase 1: Portapak, mechanical, and washroom demolition. School and childcare addition (three room childcare), retrofit and build new classrooms, construct new washrooms, custodial and storage spaces. Phase 2: Interior architectural retrofit includes mechanical and electrical systems within building additions dated 1964 (2788 square feet) and 1972 (4521 square feet). Exterior parking lot and school yard upgrades. The project is expected to proceed immediately with an overall project of approximately 4 Million. Construction is expected to start in the summer of 2021, and substantial completion is to occur by December 31, 2022.
