01-01/21 - Adaptive Re-Use of Fairacres Garage & Stables Building - Design

Following Request for Qualification #172-08/19, only the following pre-qualified Proponents will be invited for this RFP:

· Gair Williamson Architect;
· Iredale Architecture;
· McGinn Engineering and Preservation;
· Merrick Architecture; and
· RDH Building Science.

An OPTIONAL site visit for this RFP will be held on January 19, 2021 commencing at 9:30 A.M. Proponents are requested to meet at Fairacres Garage & Stables building located at 6344 Deer Lake Avenue, Burnaby, BC and must wear non-medical grade masks for the duration of the site visit. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic situation, the City requires that visitors fill out the Attachment I - COVID-19 Site Visit Questionnaire prior to attending the site visit and email to  purchasing@burnaby.ca.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Burnaby prefers to accept electronic bid submissions via email to purchasing until further notice. Delivery of hard copy submissions will continue to be accepted at this time as an alternative.

Please note: Email submissions could be delayed or rejected by the City of Burnaby's email security system. The onus is on the Proponent to make sure the City receives the Proposal before the closing date and time. Maximum email submission size is 50 MB. If your email submission is larger than 50 MB, please submit in multiple emails.

Proposals will not be opened in public.
