Description

Silvera for Seniors (or Silvera) is Calgary’s largest provider of affordable seniors housing. With 26 Independent Living and Supportive Living facilities in all four quadrants of the city, Silvera has an expanse unlike any other seniors housing provider.

A new Supportive Living Seniors Lodge is currently being constructed in the northeast Calgary community of Pineridge. This new development is called Gilchrist Gardens Phase 2. Estimated completion and opening of the new Lodge is Winter 2022. When constructed, Gilchrist Gardens Phase 2 will contain 114 Studio rental apartments for seniors spread across 4 storeys, a main dining room, an eat-in & take-out bistro, a hair salon, a series of multi-purpose rooms and lounge spaces, an outdoor courtyard, a central atrium, and a heated underground parkade.

The purpose of this Request For Proposal (RFP) is for Silvera to retain a firm that will carry out all necessary design and procurement activities to furnish all common rooms in Gilchrist Gardens Phase 2 requiring furnishings. Please note that the 114 Studio apartments will not be furnished.
