Description

Long-Term Care is a service provided within a community care facility regulated under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act, and defined by the British Columbia Ministry of Health to include services to adults who require round-the-clock supervision and continuous professional care.

This Request for Proposal ("RFP") solicits Proposals through a competitive selection process to secure a community pharmacy to perform services regulated under the British Columbia Pharmaceutical Services Act and the British Columbia Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act and overseen by pharmacists duly-licensed under the Health Professions Act of British Columbia for the benefit of clients receiving long-term care at The Summit at Quadra Village ("Clients") under a three (3)-year agreement with Island Health, starting June 1st 2021, and will include an option for Island Health to extend the term of the agreement by up to two one-year terms .
