1. The work to be undertaken generally involves, but is not necessarily limited to:
Aerial photography to produce ortho-rectified images (the “Work”) for an area as set out in Appendix “A” (Instructions to Bidders) which Work will include, but not be limited to the following:
• Survey control establishment.
• Air photo acquisition using frame digital aerial survey cameras.
• Aerial triangulation and block adjustments
• Orthophoto production using DTM (to be supplied). Any DTM updates necessary to achieve required outputs will be the responsibility of the Contractor(s)
• Weekly reporting system on project progress.
• All materials under this project shall be owned by the Southern Alberta Partnership, no exceptions.
• Alberta Government specifications as set out in Appendix “B” (Instructions to Bidders) shall be used for project except as noted in this document.
• Additional work may be added during contract execution. This additional work will be budgeted at cost per km square quoted on Tender for this bid.
2. The Southern Alberta Partnership (SAP) will retain a Consultant to manage this project on their behalf. Upon award of this project, SAP will inform the successful bidder who will manage project execution on behalf of SAP.
3. The Successful Bidder shall achieve completion of the Work for the Project by Dec 15, 2021.
4. Tender documents will be supplied to all bidders by emailing 2021saptender@mdwillowcreek.com. All written inquiries regarding the technical aspects of the drawings and specifications for the Work shall be emailed to 2021saptender@mdwillowcreek.com. However, the Bidder(s) acknowledge and agree that the Southern Alberta Partnership does not have an obligation to provide a response to any written inquiries and that it is in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Southern Alberta Partnership to provide any written response to a written inquiry. SAP will not reply to any telephone or fax inquiries. No written enquiries will be allowed fourteen days prior to closing of Tender.
5. Submission of a tender by a Bidder gives the Southern Alberta Partnership the right to require the Bidder to execute the Contract and perform the Work as set out within the Tender Documents. Tenders cannot be withdrawn after the Tender Closing and will be irrevocable and open for acceptance by the Southern Alberta Partnership for a period of sixty (60) days following the end of the day of the Tender Closing. SAP will deliver a letter of intent to the successful bidder.
