Description

This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) issued by Develop Nova Scotia Limited (“Develop Nova Scotia”) is an invitation to prospective and qualified contractors to submit proposals for the Peggys Cove Public Washrooms Project

The public washroom building work includes site grading, excavation, foundation pad, foundation construction, compostable washroom equipment installation (5 units), concrete work, supported wooden boardwalk, stairs/ramping, fencing, power/lighting, ventilation AED, and landscaping. The project occurs in tandem and will require construction phasing and coordination with the Peggys Cove Point Road Raising and Boardwalk contractor (hired by TIR) and the Accessible Viewing Deck contractor (separate contract) in order facilitate access to each project. Project shall be complete by no later than July 31st , 2021.

The project is located at the end of Peggys Point Road, and adjacent areas, in Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia. Site Visit shall be Friday, February 19th , 2021 at 10:00 am Atlantic Time at the project location. Proponents are to meet at the Sou’Wester Parking Lot and bring respective PPE, inclusive of face masks, exercise safe distancing and all health and safety guidelines outlined by the Province of Nova Scotia.

Deadline for Questions is Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at 4:30 pm.
