Description

Town of Banff has retained Energy Associates Inc. as energy management consultant to assist in the evaluation of RFP responses and the supplier selection process. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the purchase of firm, non-curtailable supply of natural gas to be delivered to facilities located in Atco Gas’ service territory. As a secondary goal, the Town of Banff wishes to obtain firm and competitively priced natural gas supply from a responder who is in good financial standing.

The current total annual normalized natural gas energy usage by the Town of Banff is approximately 28,500 GJ/ year for 27 sites. Note: Sites and volumes are subject to change prior to the firm bid round. All participating Bidders will receive an updated final list for firm
bid round purposes.

From Proposals received, the Town of Banff will select Bidders which shall be the standard for future orders under the terms of each Contract awarded by virtue of this RFP throughout the Term of such Contracts. The terms "RFP" and "Proposal" include any revisions, amendments or
additional documents made thereto, pursuant to this RFP.
