Re: Public Art - Maintenance Services - Welcome to the Land of Light Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver ("City") of its intent to contract with E.B. Horsman & Son for the supply and delivery of specialized lighting and associated components related to the restoration of the Welcome to the Land of Light (WTLL) project.

The Public Art Program has undertaken the restoration of the artwork, Welcome to the Land of Light (WTLL). The artwork is now over 20 years old and requires significant restoration in order to return it to its original functioning and intent. This includes supply and delivery of specialized/custom lighting and associated components.

E.B. Horsman & Son is the distributor for the Kelvix specialty lighting products. E.B. Horsman & Son and Mac'S II Agencies Ltd will work together to provide sales and technical support and have the expertise required for the reconstruction of the lighting for Welcome to the Land of Light (WTLL). E.B. Horsman & Son has a good understanding to the artwork's performance and intent, they have detailed analysis of existing challenges, and provide recommendations for improvements of the project.

The contract is valued at approximately $55,000.00 for 1 year with an option to renew for two (3) successive - 1 (one) year extensions upon written approval from the City.
